Retail Customer Records

Retail customer records in Nexora live at the till, not in a separate contact list — every sale starts as a walk-in and only becomes a saved customer when it’s worth keeping.

Walk-in by default

Every sale defaults to "Walk-in Customer" — no record required to check out. A cashier can search for a saved customer by name or phone mid-sale, or add a new one with just a name and phone number, without leaving the till.

The rule behind due sales

A due (credit) sale can only be recorded against a saved customer — a walk-in sale can’t carry a balance due. That one rule is what ties customer records directly to how the till actually works, rather than being a general contact list attached to the POS.

What the till shows about a customer

Once selected, a customer’s record carries their type, status and wallet balance, and the receipt records exactly who the sale was billed to — walk-in or saved — for that transaction.
